Criteria for Promotion

Basis of Promotion

Promotion to the next grade will be determined based on the average marks obtained in the three terminal examinations held throughout the academic year. Students must consistently perform well across these evaluations to secure promotion to the next class.

Attendance Requirement

Students are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% throughout the academic year to be eligible for promotion. This attendance policy encourages regular participation in class, ensuring that students are consistently engaged in the learning process.

Additional Assessments

In addition to the terminal and final examinations, mid-term tests are conducted at regular intervals. The results of these mid-term assessments will also be considered when determining promotion. These tests provide continuous evaluation and reinforce learning progress.

Strict Examination Schedule

Examinations will be conducted according to the pre-scheduled timetable. No exams will be rescheduled or conducted before or after the designated dates, regardless of the reason for a student’s absence. This rule maintains the integrity and fairness of the school’s assessment process.

Finality of Promotion Decisions

Promotions are determined by the Promotion Committee, and all decisions made by the committee are considered final. As such, promotion results are binding and will not be reconsidered or altered once declared.
