The school year is divided into three terms:
These divisions help structure the academic curriculum and activities, with assessments and breaks accordingly distributed.
If a child needs to leave during school hours, a written permission letter from the parent or guardian must be submitted to the school in advance. This ensures the safety and accountability of the student.
If a student needs to take leave, a leave note signed by the parent or guardian must be submitted to the school. This ensures proper documentation of the student’s absence.
Students are required to strictly adhere to the school timings. All students must be present on campus at least five minutes before the first bell, which rings at 8:45 a.m. Habitual latecomers will be subject to disciplinary action, as punctuality is a core aspect of the school’s values.
If a student is absent for more than ten consecutive days due to illness, a valid medical certificate must be provided. In cases where a student takes more than three days of leave, the parents are required to meet the Principal to discuss the child’s wellbeing and educational continuity.
Parents are not permitted to meet the teachers during school hours unless they have prior permission from the Principal. This rule ensures that classes are conducted without disruption.
Students are responsible for taking care of their belongings and the school’s property. Any damage caused to the school’s infrastructure or classroom will result in a fine imposed on the student responsible.
All students are expected to participate in school activities unless exempted due to physical limitations. Exemptions can be granted by the Principal or a certified medical practitioner.
Students are required to abide by all school rules and regulations. They must also demonstrate respect towards all staff members, both teaching and non-teaching.
In case of an emergency, first aid will be administered to the student, and parents will be informed immediately. Although the school takes all necessary precautions, it cannot be held responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from emergencies.
The school reserves the right to dismiss any student on the grounds of irregular attendance, academic malpractice, or inappropriate behavior. This ensures that the school maintains a high standard of discipline and academic integrity.
The school has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, use of abusive language, or physical aggression. Any student found engaging in such behavior will face serious disciplinary actions.
All students from Class IV upwards are required to pass all subjects in order to be promoted to the next grade. This emphasizes the importance of consistent academic performance.
Students suffering from infectious or contagious diseases are prohibited from attending school. This measure is taken to protect the health and wellbeing of other students and staff members.
The collection of any form of contributions or gifts for any purpose must not be made without the explicit approval of the Principal.
To improve language proficiency, students are encouraged to speak only in English while on the school premises. This practice helps to enhance their communication skills and prepares them for a globalized world.
